Description

This project includes construction of a new 3 span, cast in place, reinforced, post tensioned slab bridge over Mark West Creek, on Wohler Road. The new bridge will be constructed on a new alignment and supported by cast in drill hole (CIDH) piles. Construction will be performed over two seasons with a suspension of work in effect during the wet season.

PreScience provides Full CM Services including: Resident Engineering and Structure Rep, Structure and Civil Inspections, Labor Compliance, Construction Surveying (Green Valley Consulting Engineers), Materials Testing (Inspection Services Inc.), and CIDH GGL Testing (Abe Construction Services).

Challenges

Thus far, the key project challenges have been environmental compliance, schedule management due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CIDH saft piling at a semi remote project location, and stakeholder coordination.
